British Street Food Awards 2018

​British Street Food are now looking for traders to nominate themselves to compete for a British Street Food Award this year.
​
Founded in 2009 by Richard Johnson, the annual awards were set up to enable young street food traders to showcase their talent, to make street food accessible to all, and to celebrate the street food movement. 

In 2017, there were five regional heats across Great Britain where traders competed for votes from judges and punters. 

The heats released so far are: 

BSFA Scottish Street Food Awards – May 4-6
BSFA Central heats – June 15-16
BSFA Northern heats – June 23-24
BSFA Southern heats – tbc
BSFA finals in mid-September

Over the years, prizes for winners have included business makeovers, pitches at the world’s best festivals and street food markets, and even pitches at the Olympic Games.
